To kick start our monthly topic of Holidays, our preschool children learned all about British holidays. This included building their own Blackpool tower, pretending to be on the beach at Weston-Super- Mare, visiting Buckingham Palace and having a go at being royal.
Of course the best way to end this week would be to have our very own British afternoon tea.
We can't wait to learn about China, Portugal, Jamaica and Finland to coinside with our children's heritage.
To celebrate Jamaican independance day, our children made their own Jamaican flag, listening to and danced to reagge music and learnt all about the countries culture.

Our children celebrated Raksha Bandhan by making their own braclets to share with their families.
